Common questions
Is it safe to use drain cleaner in a toilet?
We advise against it. Chemical cleaners can damage pipework and are hazardous to engineers working on the drain afterwards.
Can wipes cause a blocked toilet?
Yes. Even wipes marked flushable often do not break down. They are one of the most common causes of toilet and drain blockages.
